Dr.  William  Kim received his  Bachelor of  Science from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where he graduated magna cum laude. Next, he pursued dental training at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) School of  Dentistry. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree and graduated in the top 1% of his class.

Dr. Kim continued his academic endeavor and received his Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. He completed his general surgery internship at the Columbia University/New York-Presbyterian Hospital.

Dr. Kim then continued his training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Columbia University Hospital and Detroit Receiving Hospital. He currently covers facial trauma and dental emergencies at Detroit Receiving Hospital.
